Have a joyful Canada Day!

So it's July 1st and I have nothing to do because

a) The weather sucks (nothing new there)
b) It's closed everywhere! (your thinking... "Well duh! It's Canada day!")
c) Um... okay I got nothing for c)

You know what? Since it's a holiday I'm not going to post up any interesting sites I came across BECAUSE........

You tell me...

Well because it's CANADA DAY! And on holidays people don't do any work, they just sit back and relax.

So here's my way of relaxing...we shall play a game (well it's not a game but it can get interesting with a little bit of participation from you guys)

You see that weird ass painting up there? Well... YOU take a good look at the painting and tell me in ONE WORD, how you feel about the painting OR what you think about it?

NO CHEATING, don't try and be all sly and write multiple words but put it in all in one like this.... "PrettyDamnUgly" <-- come on now, that's 3 words right there but it looks like 1! LOL! ANYWAYS, I'm a liar. You're thinking... SAY WHAT? I lied about not posting up any sites today because it's Canada day, I fooled you! BOOOYAH! Here is a site I came across, I think it's pretty cool not useful to an ordinary person but very useful to a computer nerd. Here it is ... http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

Basically this site shows the history of any site you type in. For example, type in "www.facebook.com" and you will see what it looked like when it was first created which was in 1998! It was pretty darn ugly if you ask me. It wasn't even facebook, it was some weird ass shit called "AboutFace". RANDOM, I know!

You might be wondering how it might be useful to a computer nerd. Well, a computer nerd will look at the history and see what changes he/she made to the site as the years went by and how the site developed and what attracted people to it and all that good stuff! But for an ordinary person, you just sit back and see how nasty the site used to be and see how cool it became after :)

I will update my blogs later on this week as well!

Just another ordinary Monday

As I'm sitting here on my comfortable chair, at my desk and on my laptop I can’t help but to think about this awful Canadian weather. I believe I have suffered enough with this bizarre weather. I remember during the winter, I’d freeze my ass off as I’d walk from the front door step to the car (which was literally 6 meters away, nevertheless my ass still froze) begging for the warm weather to come. Every night I’d impatiently go to sleep with hopes that when I’d wake up in the morning, the sun would be out, the snow would be gone and the temperature would miraculously change from -30 degrees to 30 degrees. Now it’s almost July and the weather still sucks. What’s with all this rain and thunderstorms coming out of nowhere? I remember last summer we had a crazy random hail storm out of nowhere (does anyone remember that?), that was pretty weird. I thought the world was coming to an end, haha. It kind of reminded me of that movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, The Day After Tomorrow.

So anyways, thought I’d share my frustration with the weather on here and see how many people agree with me. Other then that let me just say....

I just signed up for the blogspot today, duh? I’m sure you can tell.

I’m random.

I’m currently in school, going into my second year of my undergrad this September (do the math, I’m 19 will be turning 20 soon... err... in a few months... 7 months to be exact)

I’m studying Biological Sciences, it’s pretty boring. Yeaaaah...

I like to eat, and no I’m not fat.

I like sports, anything, I’m up for anything. I like volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer... etc.

Okay so that’s enough info for you stalkers out there, just kidding. I’m just tired of talking about myself.

The reason I got this blogspot is because...

a) I have nothing better to do with my time LOL

b) I like to have random discussions about randomness

c) I like to let people know about cool sites I come across that might be useful

Before you click it let me tell you what it is.

Sooo, who has a gagillion usernames and passwords for all your different email accounts and these random sites like youtube.com, xanga.com, facebook.com, myspace.com, twitter.com and God knows what else. Do you have a hard time remembering your username AND password for each site and/or email? I know I do :) haha, wow that sounded like a cheesy advertisement off the radio or something. No, but seriously it gets so annoying like how on earth are you supposed to remember everything. You sit at your computer screen for hours trying to remember what your username is for twitter (that happened to me once...okay twice) LOL.

Well, this program is awesome! You just download it onto your computer and write down all your usernames and passwords for every site, email and even your banking stuff and its all there. And don’t worry if you are using a shared computer no one can access your passwords because once you’ve set up everything...to open up the file with all your passwords the program asks for your MASTER PASSWORD. Cool, neh?

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A SUCKY SHORT TERM MEMORY LIKE ME!

Btw it took me a while to figure out how to download it... so let me tell you...

2) Left side click “Downloads”

3) Download the Professional Edition

4) Click “Keypass 2.07”

5) It will download for you and you know what to do after
